Job Description
Flynn Group is a leading restaurant franchise operator in the United States, boasting an impressive portfolio of iconic brands such as Taco Bell, Applebee's, Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. Founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn, the company has grown exponentially to become the largest franchise operator in the world. This success is rooted in a strong commitment to its core values: Care Genuinely for People, Play like a Champion, and Win as One. Among its many brands, Flynn Group proudly owns and operates the 3rd largest Taco Bell franchisee globally, having expanded significantly since acquiring 76 Taco Bell restaurants in 2013. The company attributes its achievements to the talent and dedication of its employees and fosters a supportive, inclusive workplace that values every team member's perspectives and contributions. With a culture that emphasizes collaboration and excellence, Flynn Group continues to build upon its leadership in the foodservice and hospitality industries.
The role of Area Director/Area Coach at Flynn Group offers an exceptional opportunity for driven individuals to join a thriving team that supports ongoing growth and operational success. This full-time position comes with a competitive salary starting at $70,000 per year, complemented by a robust bonus structure and comprehensive benefits package. As an Area Director/Area Coach, you will take on a critical leadership role responsible for building and nurturing high-performing teams within numerous Taco Bell restaurants. You will recruit, train, and develop Restaurant General Managers, Assistant General Managers, and Shift Managers. Beyond team-building, this role requires you to champion a world-class guest experience by implementing and modeling the company’s customer service standards, swiftly addressing and resolving customer concerns, and fostering an environment where exceeding quality and operational benchmarks is standard.
Financial acumen is also a key component of this role. You will leverage your expertise in financial analysis to monitor restaurant performance metrics, guide managers in driving sales growth, and offer consistent, actionable feedback to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Working on the road and actively engaging with various restaurant locations, you will play a pivotal role in achieving the company’s mission to be the premier operator of its brands.
Flynn Group is deeply committed to employee development and career advancement. As part of this organization, you will benefit from a flexible work schedule, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching after one year, and unique perks such as company trips and a cell phone allowance. Flynn Group prides itself on fostering diversity and inclusion and provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process and employment lifecycle. If you are passionate about leadership, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, this role presents a rewarding and growth-oriented opportunity to join a premier restaurant franchisee operation.
