Job Description

Lemartec, a national general contractor and construction management firm founded in 1979, is recognized as a key player within MasTec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure segment. As the vertical construction arm of MasTec, Lemartec delivers complex construction projects across various markets including industrial, aviation, power, and large commercial enterprises. Supported by the vast resources of MasTec, including more than 22,000 professionals and over 400 locations across North America and the Caribbean, Lemartec possesses the technical expertise, scale, and financial backing necessary to manage projects of any size and complexity. The company specializes in a wide range of construction disciplines and is part of a diversified platform poised for growth in the vertical construction sector.

The Architectural Project Manager role at Lemartec is an executive-level position responsible for leading and managing a team of project managers, assistant project managers, and superintendents to successfully deliver construction projects. This position plays a critical role in business development by identifying, proposing, closing, and managing construction projects across commercial and industrial sectors. The role requires comprehensive oversight from pre-construction through completion, ensuring project quality, risk mitigation, client satisfaction, and profitability.

This is a full-time traveling position that requires up to 100% travel across various locations in the United States, including states such as Pennsylvania, Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Texas, Florida, Iowa, Wyoming, and other emerging sites as the company continues to expand. This opportunity provides the Architectural Project Manager with the chance to work on diverse infrastructure projects while building strong professional relationships with architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors, and clients.

The ideal candidate will have 10 to 20 years of experience managing architectural projects and possess a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction, with relevant experience substituting for education where applicable. Expertise in local construction specifications, blueprint reading, scheduling software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and estimating tools are essential. Strong organizational, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial to effectively lead teams, manage risks, and drive project success. Lemartec values professionalism, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a strategic vision.

Compensation for this role ranges from $135,000 to $185,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Lemartec offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive pay with performance reviews, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, flexible spending accounts, and a suite of medical, dental, and vision insurance options, among others. Candidates should be prepared for potential pre-employment screening including background checks and drug testing. Lemartec is an equal employment opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion across all aspects of its operations.
