Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of menu planning, preparation methods, and inspection of food items
  • Knowledge of principles of kitchen management, sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen tasks
  • Commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of Kupuna

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of menu planning and preparation methods
  • Understanding of food inspection procedures
  • Familiarity with kitchen management principles

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals to Kupuna
  • Support all activities in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensure quality of meals served and compliance with special diets
  • Break down and sanitize food service locations and equipment
  • Maintain adherence to kitchen sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Assist in menu planning and food inspection
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service
