Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience required but an interest in culinary arts
  • Ability to work flexible hours including varying shifts
  • Reliable transportation to work location
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to learn

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete training program
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work varying shifts with open availability

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of cold and/or hot foods for meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events or catering
  • Complete a 6-week training program and upon successful completion, be eligible to apply for a Cook I position
  • Attend work and report for scheduled shifts on time and with sufficient regularity
  • Perform other tasks assigned which may vary depending on business and client needs
  • Promote a healthy, safe and team-oriented work environment
  • Maintain high quality of service to create a positive atmosphere
