Chipotle is now seeking Apprentices as part of its rapid expansion, opening nearly a new restaurant every day. This role is an outstanding opportunity for driven individuals who aspire to grow into General Managers within the company. Apprentices will receive hands-on experience by assisting in the day-to-day operations of a Chipotle restaurant, gaining comprehensive skills in managing a high-volume food service environment. This position offers exposure to key operational areas including hiring and training great people, managing scheduling, overseeing sales forecasting and profit and loss (P&L) management, and ensuring that every guest interaction meets Chipotle’s elevated standards of hospitality and quality.
In this role, Apprentices will learn firsthand what it takes to lead a successful restaurant team, including how Chipotle uses innovative tools and resources to create growth opportunities and develop future leaders. The Apprentice position combines the fast-paced excitement of the restaurant environment with the growth-oriented culture of a people-first company, dedicated to cultivating talent and fostering a supportive space for employees to thrive. Specific to the role, Apprentices will uphold high standards of food safety and operational compliance, ensuring that each restaurant is guest-ready and aligned with company protocols. The job entails working a standard 50-hour workweek, inclusive of evenings and weekends, with applicable overtime paid. Chipotle offers competitive compensation with a base pay range of $23.95 to $26.39 per hour, complemented by a quarterly cash bonus based on performance. Additionally, the company’s total rewards package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan, sick leave, vacation time, tuition assistance, and holiday closures, supporting both professional development and personal wellbeing.

Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk around the restaurant for 10 hours a day
- Ability to lift 50lbs/25kgs
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in restaurant operations preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Be guest obsessed - uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
- Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest experience
- Train and develop crew members utilizing Chipotle's training tools and resources
- Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time
- Learn to run the day-to-day operational business of your restaurant (creating and managing a schedule, P&L management, sales-forecasting, recruiting and interviewing)
- Ensure the dining room remains clean and the restaurant is always guest-ready
- Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
- Work a standard 50-hour workweek (with applicable overtime paid), including evening and weekend shifts
