Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in appliance delivery and installation service preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with appropriate equipment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Mechanical skills and eagerness to learn
- Ability to comprehend written safety and operational documents
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
Job Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in appliance delivery and installation service preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possession or ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Ability to lift 70-plus pound objects frequently and 90-plus pound objects occasionally with lifting equipment such as stair climber, oven lifts, or air sled
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Job Duties
- Perform basic appliance installation and learn custom appliance installations through provided training
- Handle and install gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators accurately
- Ensure appliances are damage-free, installed per manufacturer specifications, and fully functional
- Interact courteously and expertly with builders, designers, and on-site customers
- Attend company-paid installation training seminars and certifications to stay current on product changes
- Perform driver duties and responsibilities
- Maintain safety and compliance standards during installations
