Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests as they enter and depart the restaurant and hold the door open for guests
  • Seat guests according to the established plan and guests' needs
  • Keep host/hostess stand and waiting area clean
  • Ensure menus remain clean and stocked
  • Complete restroom checks and refill paper products in bathrooms as needed
  • Sanitize and wipe down all tables and sweep the area as needed and reset tables
  • Assist the servers when needed by taking the initial drink order or running food to guests in the dining room
  • Complete daily opening and closing work to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and team
