Additionally, the General Manager handles administrative and financial oversight, including budgeting, controlling assets, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and company policies. They prepare and submit accurate reports to the Area Director regularly and work collaboratively to analyze systems and implement improvements to meet or exceed earning goals. This role requires a committed leader who can manage multiple responsibilities while championing change and growth within the restaurant.
Educationally, candidates for this position typically hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience. They bring a minimum of seven years of multi-unit restaurant management experience with direct profit and loss accountability. Demonstrated expertise in managing restaurant operations, exemplary leadership skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments are essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, disciplined, goal-oriented, and capable of maintaining a professional image that sets a positive example for the entire team.
