The Applebee's Assistant Manager role is vital to maintaining Flynn Group's high standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and write for communication
  • Finger and hand dexterity to use small tools and equipment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications are a plus
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Ensures timely and friendly service according to company guidelines achieving established objectives of the unit
  • Cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
  • Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
  • Ensures guest contact as a priority completing required table visits
  • Maintains departmental inventory levels
  • Ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards performing line checks
  • Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
  • Maintains safety and security programs
  • Promotes and leads restaurant organization cleanliness and sanitation
  • Performs routine maintenance reporting needed repairs
  • Promotes quality recruitment and referrals
  • Helps maintain trained staff through orientation training sessions and policy implementation
  • Participates in employee development and performance evaluation
  • Monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary action
  • Ensures compliance with company policies practices and procedures
  • Controls costs in assigned department
  • Ensures compliance with local state and federal laws regulations and guidelines
  • Drives food and liquor inventories and is accountable for completion
  • Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
  • Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee’s standards
  • Provides role model for managers and employees
  • Develops self on store related technology
  • Works in all positions assisting team members as needed
  • Uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
