The role of Applebee's® Assistant Manager is both dynamic and integral to the success of each restaurant. This full-time position offers a projected total compensation of up to $65,000 per year and involves engaging in all aspects of daily restaurant operations. As an Assistant Manager, you will be a crucial team leader responsible for fostering enthusiasm and passion among both guests and staff. Your leadership will ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable experience, and every team member feels valued and motivated.

The Assistant Manager will oversee operations to deliver timely, friendly service while meeting the company's established objectives. This role requires adept problem-solving skills, the ability to handle stress effectively, and a strong sense of responsibility. It also offers an enjoyable, rewarding environment where dedication and hard work pay off.

You will promote a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's Premier Card core values and beliefs, handle guest feedback proactively, maintain inventory and product standards, effectively schedule staff based on sales demands, and ensure compliance with safety, security, and sanitation guidelines. The role also involves training and developing employees, maintaining operational and safety standards, controlling departmental costs, and supporting the restaurant's overall cleanliness and organization.

Physical demands include the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, stand and move for up to ten hours at a time, lift items up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring hand dexterity. Certification in Serve Safe Food and Alcohol is advantageous but not mandatory.   • Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
  • cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
  • ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
  • ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards
  • maintains departmental inventory levels
  • ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
  • effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
