Job Requirements

At least high school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years restaurant management experience
Ability to work various shifts including weekends
Ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
Good reading and writing skills
Manual dexterity for using small tools and equipment

Job Qualifications

At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism
Knowledge of restaurant operations and safety standards
Ability to train and develop employees

Job Duties

Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
Ensures guest contact priority with completion of required table visits
Maintains departmental inventory levels
Ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
Maintains effective safety and security programs
Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
Promotes training procedures for new managers
Maintains trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and meetings
Participates in continuous employee development and performance evaluations
Assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback
Monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary situations
Assures compliance with company policies and procedures
Controls costs in assigned department
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Drives food and liquor inventories and accountability
Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
Ensures sanitation standards meet or exceed health department and company standards
Provides a role model for managers and employees
Develops self on all store-related technology
Works in all positions and assists in team member roles as needed
