Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Capability to stand and be mobile for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Good reading and writing skills
- Finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- Willingness to work in multiple restaurant positions as needed
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to handle stress and problem solve effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with employee training and development
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with inventory and cost control
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values
- Ensures immediate response and correction of guest complaints
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- Maintains safety and security programs
- Promotes cleanliness and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- Promotes recruitment and referrals of potential team members
- Supports training procedures for new managers
- Maintains a trained staff through orientation and training
- Participates in employee development and evaluations
- Assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback
- Monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
- Ensures compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Controls costs in assigned department
- Conducts food and liquor inventories
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Upholds sanitation standards
- Acts as role model for managers and employees
- Develops proficiency in store-related technology
- Works in various positions as needed
- Uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
