We are currently seeking hard-working, polished, and experienced Apartment Leasing Professionals to join the Five Star Staffing team throughout the Memphis area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have apartment leasing experience and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The Leasing Consultant position plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of residential communities by driving leasing efforts, supporting resident retention programs, and representing the apartment community positively.

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be entrusted with implementing leasing and marketing programs that attract new residents and retain existing ones. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting prospective tenants in a professional and enthusiastic manner, handling inquiries both in-person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, and converting internet leads into property visits. You will verify applications promptly within 12 hours to ensure efficient processing and maintain meticulous records such as daily traffic logs, phone logs, and follow-up activities. A deep knowledge of the apartment community and local competition is essential for success in this role, enabling you to effectively promote the community's unique advantages.

Moreover, you will be involved in community outreach marketing and fostering relationships with locators to maximize occupancy rates. The role also entails inspecting make-ready standards to ensure the property's appeal remains high. Achieving daily leasing goals and adhering to pricing policies will be key components of your efforts.

Job Duties

  • Stand and greet all prospects that visit the leasing office
  • answer phone and personal inquiries and provide rental information in a professional, enthusiastic and positive manner
  • schedule sales appointments and convert prospect phone calls and internet leads into property visits
  • perform verifications of application within twelve (12) hours of the lease date
  • complete other administrative and marketing duties as requested
  • maintain daily traffic logs, phone logs and follow-up
  • have complete knowledge of the apartment community and competition in the area
  • interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy
  • meet goals and pricing requirements
  • conduct community outreach marketing and establish locator relationships
  • inspect make ready standards and community appeal
  • track traffic, appointments, and leases daily
