The Floating Multi-Site Maintenance Technician position at Lyon Living plays a critical role in ensuring that the properties under the company’s care meet the highest safety, appearance, and operational standards. This role requires versatility and responsiveness as the technician will support multiple sites across North Orange County and Los Angeles County. Responsibilities include responding promptly to resident maintenance requests, maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the properties, and conducting repairs on building exteriors and common areas. The technician is also responsible for completing unit turns, performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance installation and repair tasks, and adhering strictly to the company’s safety protocols. The nature of the position demands a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on-call duties, as well as reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance, making it essential for candidates to be mobile and adaptable. Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of hands on general maintenance experience
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, overtime, and on-call
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration/insurance required
  • Required to work on-call duty, weekends and may be required to live on-site
  • Required to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner

Job Qualifications

  • Trade school or maintenance training program preferred
  • HVAC experience preferred but not required
  • CPO preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Respond to resident requests for maintenance
  • Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property
  • Complete necessary repairs to building exteriors and common areas as assigned by supervisor
  • Complete unit turns
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance installation and repair
  • Adhere to the company’s safety program rules, attend safety meetings and perform all duties in a safe manner
