This role as a Leasing Professional, located in Redmond, OR, presents an exciting opportunity for driven and outgoing individuals ready to jumpstart their careers in the multifamily housing industry. As a Leasing Professional, you will be the face of the community, greeting prospective residents and guiding them through the leasing process while assessing their housing needs and preferences. Your responsibilities will include conducting property tours, managing leasing paperwork such as applications and lease agreements, and performing employment and credit verifications. You will play a crucial role in collecting deposits, rent, and related fees associated with new move-ins, and you will be responsible for communicating lease terms, community policies, and managing lease renewals to retain current residents effectively.

This role requires working closely with residents and prospects, responding promptly to inquiries via phone and email, and creatively marketing the community to attract new residents. The Leasing Professional is also tasked with ensuring apartment units are in move-in ready condition, inspecting units, and coordinating final preparation before new residents arrive. Successful individuals often come from backgrounds in real estate, retail, sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service, bringing excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media
  • Knowledge of leasing software a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI, etc.
  • Ability to work weekends as required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in real estate, retail, sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Familiarity with leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
  • Outgoing and proactive attitude with a goal-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and closing leads
  • Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
  • Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move-ins
  • Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
  • Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last-minute touches when appropriate
  • Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
  • Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
  • Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries
