Job Description
Our client is a leading global financial services company with a rich heritage spanning over 175 years, renowned for its culture built on innovation, shared values, and leadership behaviors. The company is deeply committed to supporting its customers, communities, and colleagues through cutting-edge financial products and services. As a recognized player in the financial sector, it manages extensive networks and relationships worldwide, continually striving to define the future of financial services with a customer-centric approach and a forward-thinking mindset.
The role of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst within the Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) team represents a critical position dedicated to maintaining the integrity and compliance of a premier global payment network. This position is titled as a Manager role due to its seniority and strategic significance but functions as an individual contributor role without direct people management responsibilities, ideal for senior analysts seeking to lead global compliance strategies while maintaining autonomy.
As the Manager of 3PPP Due Diligence Operations, you will play an integral role in safeguarding the company’s brand by meticulously overseeing the due diligence processes for global third-party payment partners, including regulated banks and independent ATM networks. Your expertise will be vital in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, recognizing subtle risk indicators, and implementing robust risk mitigation measures. This role emphasizes the importance of understanding the purpose of data collection, identifying potential financial crimes, and ensuring that compliance operates seamlessly across borders.
The successful candidate will be deeply involved in executing comprehensive onboarding and periodic refreshes of customer due diligence processes tailored to diverse risk tiers, entity types, and geographic remits. This role demands a nuanced understanding of global regulatory frameworks such as those from the United States, United Kingdom, FATF, and JMLSG, and requires the capacity to apply these standards rigorously across all compliance activities. You will also serve as the principal liaison among business development, partner managers, and specialized financial crime compliance subject matter experts, fostering clear communication and collaboration while preserving stringent documentation standards to maintain audit readiness.
A hybrid work schedule allows for a balanced approach to collaboration and focused task execution, with three days spent in a state-of-the-art Phoenix office. The compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $41.87 per hour, with factors such as education, experience, certifications, and location taken into account. Additionally, the company offers a competitive benefits package designed to support employee health and well-being, career growth, and work-life balance.
This position represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-class brand, leveraging extensive compliance expertise to navigate regulatory risk and safeguard global payment networks. If you are a proactive, self-starting individual with a passion for risk analysis, regulatory compliance, and strategic problem-solving, this role offers a unique platform to make a significant impact in the financial services industry.
