Always & Furever is a passionate animal rescue organization dedicated to saving and caring for animals in need. The organization operates through innovative community engagement programs to raise awareness, support adoptions, and generate funding to provide top-quality care for rescue animals. Partnering with Pickle 4 Paws, a unique community-based pickleball court designed for kids, Always & Furever brings together the love of animals and family-friendly activities to create meaningful experiences that foster community support and involvement. Pickle 4 Paws generously donates its court and space to Always & Furever, allowing the organization to host fundraising and engagement programs that combine pickleball, social media storytelling, memberships, and animal-centered events. This collaborative effort aims to increase membership participation, enhance adoption visibility, and cultivate a strong donor base through enjoyable, mission-driven events.
The Marketing, Social Media, and Events Coordinator role at Always & Furever is essential in driving the success of these community programs. This part-time position (20 to 30 hours per week) offers a starting pay of $17 per hour with opportunities for growth based on performance and program development. The role requires a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be a creative, outgoing individual with a strong passion for animals and community engagement. They will play a crucial role in planning, marketing, and executing various events such as birthday parties, adoption events, member gatherings, public outreach, and fundraising initiatives through Pickle 4 Paws.
This role is not just about hosting events but creating organized, welcoming, and mission-driven experiences that connect the community to Always & Furever’s rescue mission. The coordinator will use their skills to promote memberships, encourage event participation, and raise funds that directly support animal care. Responsibilities incorporate event planning, marketing, content creation, volunteer coordination, and guest experience management. Additionally, the coordinator will use PodPlay.app for event and membership coordination, capture engaging event photos and videos with their smartphone, and conduct live social media videos to boost engagement and storytelling.
Moreover, the position requires being an ambassador for the Pickle 4 Paws mission to the public. This includes explaining the program benefits, promoting the $25 per month membership, and ensuring events support fundraising, safety, and animal welfare. The coordinator will work closely with barn managers and leadership, coordinate volunteers and external partners, and monitor animal behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and animals alike.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous event planning or marketing experience preferred
- Experience using social media platforms for marketing and engagement
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Own a smartphone capable of capturing photos and videos
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move swiftly during events
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Job Duties
- Plan and help run birthday parties, private events, adoption events, member events, and community fundraising events
- Promote Always & Furever and Pickle 4 Paws through social media, event marketing, and public engagement
- Explain the Pickle 4 Paws program and encourage memberships, event participation, and community involvement
- Understand and use PodPlay.app software for event and membership-related coordination
- Capture photos and videos at events using your own smartphone
- Be comfortable doing live videos on social media and helping create engaging content before, during, and after events
- Help connect event guests to the rescue mission, featured animals, memberships, adoptions, and ways to support Always & Furever
