This award-winning environment encourages employees to bring their full selves to work every day and offers numerous benefits designed to foster professional growth and well-being. The restaurant strives to create memorable guest experiences through attentive service and high-quality cuisine, emphasizing teamwork and excellence in all aspects of operations.

The role of Part-Time Host-Food Runner at Andare Kitchen & Bar is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask efficiently. This hybrid position primarily focuses on assisting servers by delivering food to guests, setting up and breaking down buffets, clearing and cleaning tables, and ensuring guests have everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities as a Restaurant Host, where you greet guests warmly, manage reservations and seating arrangements, and support the overall service team. The position demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight, as well as standing for extended periods.

Compensation for this role varies depending on the specific duties performed. When serving as a Host, the hourly rate ranges from $28.60 to $29.17, with the starting rate set at $28.60 and an increased rate available for colleagues with four or more years of service. Alternatively, working as a Food Runner offers a base wage of $21.30 per hour, supplemented by gratuities and service charges on applicable orders, providing additional earning potential.

Hyatt Regency Seattle supports its colleagues with an extensive benefits package. Eligible employees have access to affordable medical insurance for themselves and their dependents, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, basic life insurance, short-term disability insurance, new child leave and adoption assistance, and paid time off. The vacation policy offers progressive accrual based on years of service, complemented by floating holidays, paid holidays, compassionate leave, and paid sick time with extended illness days.

Perks of working at the Hyatt Regency Seattle include an employee assistance program, free uniforms and uniform cleaning services, discounted parking and rooms at Hyatt locations, complimentary colleague meals during shifts, a colleague discount program, tuition reimbursement, and ORCA pass subsidies. These benefits and perks combine to create a workplace culture dedicated to employee well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
