Known for combining a quick and efficient dining service with an upscale yet casual ambiance, Andare Kitchen & Bar provides a welcoming environment that celebrates quality food and exceptional customer service. As part of the Hyatt brand, which has been recognized as a Great Place to Work in the U.S. for twelve consecutive years, Andare Kitchen & Bar embodies a culture of inclusivity, respect, and excellence. The Hyatt Regency Seattle itself is a flagship hotel in the Pacific Northwest, well-known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and a diverse, supportive workplace. Employees at Hyatt benefit from a strong emphasis on career growth, ongoing training, and comprehensive wellness programs that make every team member feel valued and empowered. Embark on a rewarding career with Andare Kitchen & Bar as a Host-Food Runner, a pivotal role that bridges guest hospitality and efficient dining service. This hybrid position uniquely combines responsibilities as both a food runner and a restaurant host, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy providing exceptional guest interactions. When working as a food runner, you will assist servers by delivering food orders promptly, setting up and breaking down buffet stations, clearing and cleaning tables, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience through attentive and courteous service. In your host capacity, you will greet and welcome guests, manage reservations and inquiries, seat guests effectively, and support the wider service team to maintain a seamless flow throughout the dining area. Those working in the Host role earn an hourly wage between $26.25 and $26.78, depending on tenure, and when functioning as a food runner, the hourly rate is $20.76 with additional compensation through tips and service charges. This role demands excellent communication skills, physical stamina for lifting and moving moderate weight items, and a genuine desire to satisfy guests' needs in a high-energy atmosphere. The opportunity to engage directly with guests provides a meaningful and rewarding experience. Beyond the immediate responsibilities, the Host-Food Runner position at Andare Kitchen & Bar offers a pathway for growth within the Hyatt hotel network, supported by a company culture focused on recognition and employee development. Benefits include competitive wages, comprehensive health coverage options, generous paid time off, and a suite of employee perks designed to enhance work-life balance and professional satisfaction. Joining Andare Kitchen & Bar means becoming part of a respected hospitality team where your contributions are appreciated and your career goals are supported.
