Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- able to lift 20 lb
- proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- willing to work Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility for additional hours
- ability to work weekends as required
- professional and reliable work ethic
- organized and detail-oriented
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years previous catering or conventions experience preferred
- prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred
- graduate of an accredited hospitality bachelors program preferred
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- professional, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- experience with catering software preferred
- familiarity with Microsoft Office and Teams
- ability to work flexible hours as needed
Job Duties
- Provide general administrative assistance to all Catering Managers
- create and email reports to the proper departments
- attend weekly staff meetings
- handle client requests in the absence of Catering Managers
- perform any other assigned tasks asked of by managers
- participate in an aggressive hospitality program greeting all guests with warmth and enthusiasm
- support managers within the catering department as requested
- learn and follow all hotel policies and procedures pertaining to area of work
- follow established uniform standards and comply with all other company policies
- practice safety standards and report all unsafe conditions
- provide fast and courteous service to guests maintaining a well organized work area
- conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times as a goodwill ambassador to ensure guest satisfaction
- demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to please guests, and ability to get along with co-workers and supervisors
- maintain good record of attendance and punctuality
- willingness to perform other duties as assigned
