The Amusement Manager role is essential to maintaining the high standards of game play and guest satisfaction that Dave and Buster's and Main Event Entertainment pride themselves on. This technical expert position focuses on keeping all arcade and virtual reality games in ideal playing condition while leading a team of skilled Game Technicians. It requires a blend of technical proficiency, leadership acumen, and passion for guest service in a lively, sometimes noisy environment. The Amusement Manager not only ensures operational excellence but also drives a fun and engaging atmosphere that inspires both employees and guests alike.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing the physical and mental demands of the role, including handling high volume business days, walking extensive distances during shifts, and working an average of 50-hour work weeks including nights, weekends, and holidays. Communication skills are paramount, as the manager needs to effectively coordinate with teams and guests to elevate performance and guest experiences. Job Requirements
- 21 or older
- Three or more years of relevant technical experience
- Ability to lead a team to create memorable guest experiences
- Willingness to work in fast-paced, noisy, distracting conditions
- Effective communication skills orally and in writing
- Strong business acumen
- Availability to work weekends, nights and holidays

- Three or more years of relevant experience diagnosing and repairing arcade and virtual reality games
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a technical team

Job Duties
- Lead, hire, train, develop and retain a team of Game Technicians
- Create a safe, secure, sanitary environment for guests and staff
- Maintain and repair arcade and virtual reality games to ensure ideal playing conditions
- Adhere to preventative maintenance programs and daily store maintenance
- Monitor game playability and perform repairs promptly
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to inspire a fun atmosphere
- Oversee operations during peak business hours while managing physical demands
