With a robust presence in the healthcare sector, Williamson Health offers the services of more than 860 physicians and advanced care practitioners, covering over 60 specialties and subspecialties, ensuring comprehensive and accessible care close to home for the community it serves.

The flagship facility of Williamson Health is the Williamson Medical Center, which is distinguished by its recent expansion featuring the new Boyer-Bryan West Tower. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge technologies and specialized services, including extensive women's health services, advanced cardiology care, modern surgical technologies, and an award-winning obstetrics and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The medical center is also noted for its leading-edge orthopedics department, comprehensive outpatient imaging services, and a highly capable emergency department that delivers both inpatient and emergency care for adult and pediatric patients.

In addition to the Williamson Medical Center, the system encompasses other critical components such as the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, The Turner-Dugas Breast Health Center, and a joint venture with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital Vanderbilt, located within Williamson Medical Center. The system also includes multiple physician practices throughout the community, a countywide Emergency Medical Services fleet equipped with 18 rapid response units, and a foundation supporting healthcare initiatives.

The Floor Ambassador role is an integral part of the Nutritional Services Department at Williamson Health. This position is responsible for ensuring patient satisfaction by managing meal delivery operations within the healthcare facilities. The Floor Ambassador's primary duties involve taking, entering, and delivering meals to patients and guests in accordance with facility policy, and accurately documenting meal deliveries in the Electronic Diet Office system. This role also includes collecting trays after meal completion and acting as a key liaison between the Nutritional Services Department and patients, requiring adherence to scripting protocols to maintain exceptional communication standards.

The position also includes responsibilities as Line Ambassador and Call Center Ambassador based on the schedule, managing the flow of trayline orders according to dietary requirements and handling patient communications for Room Service orders. This flexible scheduling ensures that operations run smoothly across the department, meeting patient needs promptly and accurately.

Candidates for this position should expect to work in a fast-paced environment, often walking or standing for shifts up to 12 hours, and handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 pounds. The role demands solid communication skills, attention to detail regarding dietary needs, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment and computer systems. Williamson Health offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the physical, financial, and emotional well-being of its employees, including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, and several other valuable programs.
