This position is an entry-level delivery driver role focused on serving suburban routes using step vans and cargo vans. Drivers will be delivering up to 400 packages a day to nearly 200 homes, requiring a balance of physical stamina, attention to safety, and customer service skills. The role demands extensive walking, estimated at 10-12 miles daily, and the ability to safely operate delivery vehicles while following strict safety procedures. Drivers are expected to maintain a positive attitude and deliver smiles as much as packages. Additionally, this position presents an opportunity to earn a Class C driver's license through the company's training and licensing program, further advancing career prospects. The position offers an hourly wage starting at $22.75 per hour plus up to $1.00 per hour in bonuses. The work schedule is approximately from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and includes the benefit of paid training, tuition reimbursement, and a flexible schedule.
