Currently, Duro Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join the team at Norman's Japanese. This role focuses primarily on the sushi station and fish manufacturing prep, making it a specialized position within the kitchen. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and freshness of all fish and protein products used in their culinary offerings. Responsibilities include properly cleaning, cutting, storing, and portioning fish and other proteins to prepare them for service, all while adhering strictly to health and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment. The Prep Cook will also be responsible for managing the daily inventory of proteins in both refrigeration and freezer units, assisting the Chef team with ordering supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who have a passion for sushi preparation and a commitment to culinary craftsmanship.
