The role of Restaurant Server at Sonesta is a vital part of this hospitality commitment. As a Restaurant Server, you will be the frontline ambassador of the hotel's food and beverage service, responsible for creating an inviting and memorable dining experience. Your primary mission is to consistently deliver service with a high level of quality, efficiency, and professionalism that aligns with the hotel's overall performance objectives. This position involves setting up, servicing, and breaking down food and beverage areas with great attention to detail and customer care. The Restaurant Server's duties include greeting and seating guests warmly, presenting menus clearly, taking and inputting accurate orders into the point-of-sale system, and ensuring timely and courteous food and beverage delivery. The Server plays an integral role in upselling specials and additional items, expertly answering guests' questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens to guide their dining choices. Maintaining clean and organized tables, handling guest payments accurately, and collaborating seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff to maintain workflow fluidity are key elements of this role.
Safety and sanitation standards must be adhered to rigorously, ensuring a clean and safe dining environment. Job Duties
