The available position is that of a Restaurant Server, responsible for providing exceptional guest service to lounge patrons during designated shifts. The role requires setting assigned stations meticulously according to the hotel's standards, ensuring all service periods are prepared beforehand. A crucial aspect of this position is to maintain cleanliness and organization of serving stations throughout service, ensuring all china, glassware, silverware, and food and beverage supplies are adequately stocked and accessible. Greeting guests promptly within the specified timeframe and attending to their orders with professionalism and courtesy are essential components of the job.

As a Restaurant Server, you will be entrusted with the accurate entry of food and beverage orders into the computerized point of sale system, handling billing procedures such as room charges, cash, or credit card payments precisely. A key responsibility includes practicing suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest's dining experience and contribute to the hotel's revenue targets. The role also demands vigilance in alcohol service, including verifying age identification and adhering to TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) protocols.

You will handle special requests attentively and prioritize service recovery when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation policies as guided by the hotel is fundamental. The role involves cooperation with kitchen and other hotel departments to uphold safety standards, proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents, and prompt reporting of any injuries or safety incidents.

Furthermore, the Restaurant Server is expected to actively participate in side duties such as opening and closing tasks, bus tables efficiently, and assist throughout the Food & Beverage department when required. Job Qualifications

  • Previous food and beverage serving experience in full service restaurant or lounge
  • experience with computerized point of sale systems

  • ability to follow hotel food and beverage policies regarding sanitation, portion control, serving, storing, food handling and side work
  • willingness to interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • willingness to assist in all areas of the food and beverage department

Job Duties

  • Provide guest service to lounge guests during assigned shift

  • report any food or beverage product problems to management
