Job Description
Valencia Hotel Group is a distinguished collection of hotels designed specifically for today’s passionate travelers. Each hotel in our group is intentionally crafted to marry modern design with classic character, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere for guests seeking a memorable experience. Our esteemed hotels have proudly earned multiple awards, reflecting the unwavering dedication of our team to delivering outstanding hospitality and exceptional customer service. We believe that the key to our success lies in our people. As a hospitality-driven company, we are constantly seeking talented individuals who are not only passionate about their roles but are also ready to contribute to an award-winning team that prioritizes guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
Currently, we are looking to expand our team with a dynamic Customer Service professional to join our food and beverage operations. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service that Valencia Hotel Group guests expect. The position reports directly to the Restaurant/F&B Manager and is classified as non-exempt, offering an excellent opportunity for both newcomers and experienced professionals in the hospitality industry. The role primarily focuses on providing impeccable service during breakfast dining, ensuring guests feel warmly welcomed, well cared for, and genuinely valued throughout their visit.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing the dining area for service, greeting and serving guests, monitoring and managing inventory levels, supporting other departments as needed, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. You will also play a key role in processing payments, closing checks efficiently, and executing end-of-shift duties with attention to detail. Your contribution will ensure all guests enjoy a smooth, pleasant, and personalized dining experience that exceeds their expectations.
Beyond service, you will support your teammates by providing guidance during busy periods and helping train new staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and effective communication. You will maintain open lines of communication with kitchen staff, front desk, and housekeeping to ensure all guest needs are met promptly and to relay feedback. Compliance with hotel policies, health regulations, and food safety guidelines are embedded in your daily responsibilities to uphold our commitment to guest safety and quality.
Ideal candidates are those with strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Experience with Tabit POS systems, knowledge of food safety practices, and certifications such as TABC and Food Handlers are highly valued. Physical stamina is required, as the job involves standing and walking throughout shifts and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.
Joining Valencia Hotel Group means becoming part of a supportive, high-energy environment where your efforts are recognized and rewarded. We prioritize professional growth and empower our team members to go above and beyond in their roles. If you are passionate about hospitality and ready to contribute to an award-winning team, this opportunity is for you.
