The role of AM Server at Hyatt Regency Columbus is a dynamic and customer-focused position that plays a vital part in creating an exceptional dining experience for guests during breakfast and lunch hours. The AM Server is responsible for submitting breakfast and lunch menu selections accurately and ensuring that each guest receives personalized and friendly service. This position requires strong guest service orientation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment characterized by constant customer interaction and cash handling. AM Servers must maintain a clean and organized station, restock supplies as needed, and complete various side work tasks to support daily operations. Additionally, servers are expected to engage guests in casual conversation, recommending menu items and upselling when appropriate to enhance the guest experience. This role demands excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask while efficiently managing a section of 6 to 9 tables, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, weekends, and holidays. - Prior restaurant experience greatly preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and continuously walk
- Ability to lift and carry 10 to 20 pounds
- Strong verbal communication skills
