Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one to two years of experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • willingness to learn and take on feedback

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and teamwork skills required
  • one to two years of prior experience in basic cooking or food preparation preferred
  • able to work a station with supervision and assist in multiple stations as needed
  • culinary degree is a plus but not required
  • relevant hotel experience is preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight, up to 50 lbs
  • ability to work varied schedule including early mornings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality dishes with consistency and efficiency
  • support Garde Manger operations primarily
  • provide occasional assistance for banquet functions
  • work under the guidance of senior culinary team members
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station
  • comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • collaborate effectively with culinary team members
