The current opportunity is for Prep Cooks to join the back-of-house (BOH) team at Maui Brewing Company Waikiki. Even though hiring for this specific position is temporarily closed, the company continues to accept applications for future openings, highlighting their ongoing commitment to grow their team with talented and dedicated professionals. The role of Prep Cook is crucial in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, food safety, and quality control. Starting pay is $21.00 hourly plus tips, with kitchen team members receiving a share of tips pooled from a 2% service fee on all food sales, resulting in an additional $1 to $3 per hour depending on shift and sales performance. There is also an innovative wage access program through DailyPay allowing employees early access to a portion of their earned wages before payday, supporting financial flexibility.

This position requires candidates who are friendly, reliable, quick, organized, and committed to maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards. Open availability for the AM shift from 9 AM to 5:30 PM is preferred. Experience with butchering meats and other proteins, as well as skills in making and stretching pizza dough and baking, is highly desirable.
