The Baker will be responsible for everything from measuring and preparing ingredients, kneading and rolling dough, to decorating and glazing the finished products. Beyond the art of baking, this position also involves maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment and ensuring an efficient supply chain by ordering and receiving baking materials. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience working in a bakery or food preparation environment
  • basic math skills for measuring ingredients
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle baking equipment
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety
  • availability to work early shifts on weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Measure, weigh, and prep recipe ingredients
  • knead, roll, cut, and prep dough
  • decorate, glaze, apply icing, and prep toppings
  • clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools
  • operate slicing, cutting, and wrapping equipment
  • order and receive supplies and materials
