The Cook will be responsible for following instructions to prepare well-cooked dishes, utilizing various ingredients and kitchen equipment efficiently. The role involves multitasking within a fast-paced kitchen, preparing ingredients by chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meats, and cooking food using different utensils and grillers. Attention to detail is key in ensuring food quality, presentation, and adhering to health and sanitation standards. The Cook will maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, properly store food and other items, monitor ingredient quality, manage inventory, and place orders as necessary.
Physical stamina is essential due to the demands of the job, including extended standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities such as crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Excellent vision capabilities are also required to effectively handle the cooking process. Prior experience in cooking and culinary training enhances success in this position, but these are not strictly mandatory, as we provide opportunities for growth and learning within the role.

Job Duties
- Follows instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals
- uses various ingredients and cooking equipment
- moves around the kitchen and multi-tasks
- prepares ingredients to use in cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
- cooks food in various utensils and grillers
- checks food while cooking to stir or turn
- ensures great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- keeps a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- ensures all food and other items are stored properly
- checks quality of ingredients
- monitors inventory and places orders as needed
