The Flying Horse team is made up of passionate hospitality professionals who are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for each guest. The company values diverse skill sets and encourages a collaborative and vibrant work culture. They are committed to hiring talented individuals who have a genuine passion for hospitality and an unwavering focus on quality service. As part of this commitment, Flying Horse Resort and Club is currently seeking to expand its culinary team by hiring a skilled A la Carte Line Cook to support the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef in delivering consistently high-quality food in a busy kitchen environment.
The A la Carte Line Cook role involves working under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring food quality meets the highest standards while maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations. This position requires excellent teamwork, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The line cook will be responsible for daily prep work, maintaining cleanliness and organization of their station, and assisting with menu creation while ensuring food cost control without compromising on quality. This role also demands good communication skills and the ability to provide feedback on kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working in a high-volume, five-star kitchen or hotel restaurant setting.
This is a part-time or seasonal position, offering benefits that comply with Colorado labor laws, such as paid sick leave under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. Flying Horse Resort and Club fosters an environment that supports professional growth and development, inviting culinary professionals who are eager to advance their careers in a dynamic, luxury hospitality setting to join their team. Success at Flying Horse means more than just the role itself; it means becoming part of a vibrant, respected organization where your contributions directly elevate the guest experience and company reputation.
