The Hotel Line Cook role at Concord Hospitality Enterprises is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals who want to showcase their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Hotel Line Cook, you will play a critical role in delighting guests by preparing high-quality meals with meticulous attention to detail, presentation, and safety standards. The position requires adherence to brand recipe cards to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes. You will also be responsible for proper food documentation and rotation following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain food safety and freshness. Punctuality, a clean and professional appearance, and a positive attitude towards accommodating guest requests and special needs are essential components of this role. Beyond cooking, you will contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by proactively managing orders, pars, food preparations, and equipment upkeep to prevent service disruptions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Food handler’s certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and standardized cooking procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards
  • Proper documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations per SOP
  • Practice safety standards at all times
  • Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve
  • Cook orders with adherence to guest requests/special needs in a positive manner
  • Be proactive with ordering and pars, food preparations and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles
