Job Description

This prestigious hotel boasts 313 rooms and offers 1,900 square feet of dedicated meeting and event space, making it a prime location for both leisure and business travelers. We are currently seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is integral in delivering exceptional food preparation and quality service in all designated outlets within the hotel. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, prepping, setting up, and providing quality food production service aligned with the hotel’s high standards and plating specifications. This position reports directly to the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Line Cook Supervisor, and Director of Food and Beverage, working closely with kitchen, stewarding, and food and beverage service staff.

As a Line Cook in our hotel, you will maintain the organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of your workstations and equipment. You will be expected to follow detailed production schedules, coordinate preparation of menu items, and ensure all dishes meet our stringent quality control standards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication in English, and the ability to work cohesively with a professional team under the pressures of a busy restaurant and hotel environment.

Our ideal candidate has at least three years of line cook experience in a four-star restaurant or hotel setting and holds food handling certification. We also value culinary training or apprenticeship, sanitation certificates, and any additional certifications related to liquor, wine, food service, or CPR training. This position demands physical stamina and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting items up to 25 pounds and performing tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
