Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a high volume, full service restaurant or culinary role
- Food Handler Certification if applicable
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule for mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a high volume, full service restaurant or culinary role
- Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment usage
- Able to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Food Handler Certification if applicable
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive rapport with diverse personalities
- Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service
- Follow item specifications including preparation, execution, and presentation
- Consistently comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Prevent spoiling and contamination of foods through proper sanitation practices and health regulation compliance
- Maintain a clean work station and kitchen equipment
- Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in, and prep area
- Report maintenance or repairs needed to Executive Chef
- Adhere to departmental policies and restaurant rules and regulations
