Job Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a high volume, full service restaurant or culinary role
  • Food Handler Certification if applicable
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexible schedule for mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a high volume, full service restaurant or culinary role
  • Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment usage
  • Able to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Food Handler Certification if applicable
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive rapport with diverse personalities
  • Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service
  • Follow item specifications including preparation, execution, and presentation
  • Consistently comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Prevent spoiling and contamination of foods through proper sanitation practices and health regulation compliance
  • Maintain a clean work station and kitchen equipment
  • Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in, and prep area
  • Report maintenance or repairs needed to Executive Chef
  • Adhere to departmental policies and restaurant rules and regulations
