Job Description

Trailwinds Retirement Community is an exciting new senior living community set to open in Wildwood, Florida, in the summer of 2026. As part of Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC), a fast-growing, family-owned company with over 60 resort-style communities nationwide, Trailwinds will offer a beautiful, supportive environment where residents can enjoy a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle. RLC is dedicated to serving seniors with a deep commitment to Core Values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence, creating a close-knit, servant-hearted culture that values every employee and resident alike.

This upcoming community is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals eager to make a meaningful difference from day one. The organization emphasizes a collaborative work environment led by supportive leadership that values purpose-driven roles. Employees at RLC enjoy a unique workplace culture that feels like family, where every team member contributes to enhancing the lives of seniors through excellent service and thoughtful care.

The AM Kitchen Helper role is an essential part of the Trailwinds dining team, playing a critical part in delivering an outstanding dining experience to residents each day. The position involves preparing and maintaining a fresh and inviting salad bar every morning to help residents start their day positively. Beyond food preparation, this role includes supporting residents with friendly service in the dining room, ensuring tables are clean and welcoming. Maintaining hygiene and safety standards is also a priority, as the AM Kitchen Helper is responsible for washing and sanitizing tableware, cookware, and kitchen equipment meticulously.

Training for this role will begin around July 6th, 2026, ahead of the community opening, marking a great opportunity for early involvement in shaping the culture and service standards of a brand-new facility. This position is a full-time role with a consistent schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a team environment, are detail-oriented, and are committed to providing excellent customer service. No prior culinary experience is required, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in starting or continuing a career in hospitality or food service within a senior living community.

Overall, the AM Kitchen Helper role at Trailwinds Retirement Community offers an enriching opportunity to join a purpose-driven company dedicated to serving seniors with heart and excellence. Employees will benefit from competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, which reflects RLC’s commitment to employee well-being and career growth. If you are compassionate, reliable, and excited to be part of building a new community from the ground up, this position offers a rewarding career path where your efforts directly enhance the daily life of seniors.
