Job Requirements
- Active Management Level Food Handlers' Certification (ServSafe)
- Adherence to local food handler requirements
- Consistent performance of duties in a responsible and efficient manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs with assistance for heavier loads
- Willingness to work scheduled hours with weekends off
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
- 3-5 years of kitchen management experience in a full service, moderate to high volume restaurant or equivalent
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent culinary skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management
Job Duties
- Participate in hiring, training, and employee development
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Manage and schedule kitchen staff
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Oversee food production and quality standards
- Maintain inventory and food procurement processes
- Conduct line checks and maintain kitchen cleanliness
