The position of Housekeeping Houseperson at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis plays a critical role in upholding the cleanliness, organization, and efficient operations of the hotel. This role involves maintaining the public areas, back-of-house spaces, and supporting housekeeping operations to meet Hyatt's brand standards consistently. The Houseperson's duties include cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other public spaces, ensuring these areas remain attractive and comfortable for guests and colleagues alike. The individual is expected to vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash, as well as restock public restrooms throughout their shift to maintain guest readiness.
In addition to public area maintenance, the Housekeeping Houseperson supports housekeeping operations by delivering linens, towels, and supplies to Room Attendants, removing soiled linens and trash from guest floors, assisting with stocking closets and carts, and participating in deep-cleaning projects as assigned. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs consistently
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other public spaces
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash as needed
- Clean and restock public restrooms throughout the shift
- Monitor and refresh high-traffic areas to ensure they remain guest-ready
- Deliver linens, towels, and supplies to Room Attendants
- Remove soiled linens and trash from guest floors
- Assist with stocking housekeeping closets and carts
- Support deep-cleaning projects as assigned
