Job Duties
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- seat guests and manage the seating chart
- monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- perform opening and closing duties as needed
- assist others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware
- ensure knowledge of the menu
- assist fellow team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
- set and prepare tables for dining including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water
- ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report defects for repair
- stock, maintain and clean designated food stations
- assist food servers with table service including serving beverages and bread
- retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
