The Element Tukwila Hotel, managed by Level5 Hospitality, seeks a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join its team. This full-time position involves being the first point of contact for guests upon arrival, as well as providing consistent support throughout their stay to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience. Working the AM shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, the Front Desk Agent must possess excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach to embody the company’s Level5 High Touch service philosophy. Primary responsibilities include managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints, and coordinating with housekeeping to maintain room readiness. The agent will play a crucial role in upholding the hotel’s reputation through exceptional service and operational accuracy.

The role is physically engaging and requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment as needed and performing tasks that may involve moving objects up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma is required along with previous experience in front desk operations being preferred. Candidates must also demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including availability on some weekends and holidays, strong attendance, punctuality, and reliable transportation. Job Duties

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • operate the front desk according to standard operating procedures and with exceptional guest service
  • know emergency procedures and how to respond
  • complete daily reports and audit correspondence as required by the shift
  • receive and confirm credit cards for validity and acceptability
  • welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • take incoming calls, online and in-person room booking requests, and answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, and special requests
  • communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready
  • manage online and phone reservations
  • respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • create incident reports for guest injuries/issues when required
  • maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming including compliance with the dress code policy
  • perform other related duties as required or asked by Supervisor
  • address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
  • be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
  • perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Supervisor/MOD
