Job Description

HVMG (Hospitality Ventures Management Group) is a nationally recognized hospitality management company committed to delivering exceptional experiences across its diverse portfolio of hotels and food and beverage outlets. Known for its 'Be Excellent' culture, HVMG fosters a work environment that values professional growth, inclusivity, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both guests and associates alike. With a strong emphasis on career advancement, HVMG supports a dynamic and flexible workplace that encourages employees to excel and rise through the ranks, from entry-level positions to executive leadership roles.

As a cook at HVMG, you will play a critical role in crafting high-quality meals that meet standardized recipes and presentation standards. You will collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure that all food service is timely, safe, and meets the highest quality benchmarks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, enjoys meticulous attention to detail, and has a genuine passion for hospitality. Working under the supervision of the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager, your efforts will directly contribute to delivering memorable dining experiences to our hotel guests.

The cook position requires comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and preparation techniques, along with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing menu items that are fresh, delicious, and visually appealing while following all standardized food preparation processes. This role demands physical stamina and flexibility, including the ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as needed. The position may involve working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

At HVMG, we recognize the importance of work-life balance and support flexible scheduling options to accommodate varied availability. The cook position not only provides immediate opportunities to develop culinary skills but also serves as a stepping stone for career advancement within the hospitality industry. Associates have clear pathways to progress from cook to line cook, sous chef, and ultimately executive chef roles.

Our associates benefit from comprehensive health insurance plans including medical, dental, and vision coverage alongside paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a guaranteed 4% match and no vesting period. Additionally, we offer unique employee perks such as early access to earnings through PayActive and exclusive discounts on hotel stays and food and beverage outlets within our network. Our commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture extends beyond compliance, creating an environment where every team member feels valued and empowered to deliver excellence.

Joining HVMG means becoming part of a company that truly values the contributions of every team member, offering competitive wages and opportunities to thrive in the hospitality field. If you have the passion and dedication to contribute to an exceptional guest experience through culinary excellence, HVMG welcomes your application and looks forward to supporting your professional growth in the hospitality industry.
