We are currently seeking an experienced AM Chef to join our culinary team at Touchmark on South Hill. This exciting role involves preparing breakfast and lunch meals for our residents in a fast-paced yet low-stress kitchen environment. As a key member of the culinary staff, the AM Chef will benefit from working with high-quality ingredients while enjoying wages that are competitive with the best restaurants in the area. Candidates should be willing and able to work a morning shift from 6am to 2pm with the flexibility to cover evening shifts and special events as needed. Job Requirements
- a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion)
- possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
- maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
Job Qualifications
- experience in a kitchen environment preferred
- ability to work 6am to 2pm shifts with flexibility for evening shifts and special events
- passion for excellent food and outstanding hospitality
- knowledge of healthy food options and presentation
- ability to maintain professional and positive attitude
- high school diploma or equivalent
