We are currently seeking a Part-Time AM Bartender to join the Food and Beverage Management Team at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, specifically for the Club Bar. This role requires an individual who embodies genuine warmth, exceptional hospitality skills, and the ability to engage with guests in a meaningful way. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding beverage service in a luxury setting, ensuring every guest feels valued and enjoys a personalized experience. This position comes with an attractive pay rate of $20.60 per hour plus gratuity.

As a Part-Time AM Bartender, you will work alongside experienced professionals within a diverse, multi-outlet property that encourages learning and professional growth. Your duties will include preparing and serving a wide array of cocktails, wines, and liquors while adhering to the highest standards of presentation and quality. You will be expected to exhibit strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail preparation techniques, making smart recommendations tailored to individual guest preferences.

Working in a team-oriented environment, you will play a key role in creating lasting relationships with guests by providing attentive and personalized service. Flexibility is essential as you may be required to work mornings and adapt to changing schedules that include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your ability to absorb and communicate product, menu, and allergy information will be critical in maintaining guest satisfaction and safety.

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in a 5-star or luxury environment as a bartender
  • Availability to work mornings, full time
  • Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Certification
  • Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information
  • Flexible schedule and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
  • Level one Sommelier certification or Mixology degree a plus
  • US work authorization
  • Willingness to work in a luxury hotel environment
