Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Current bartender certification or appropriate license
2-4 years of relevant bartender experience
Knowledge of mixology, wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
Ability to communicate effectively
Capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Must have an engaging, welcoming personality

Job Duties

Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily
Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure the bank
