Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior barista or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment use
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle busy work shifts
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
- Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar coffee service role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with various coffee beans and blends helpful
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to learn new recipes and adapt to evolving techniques
- Prior cash handling experience
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos
- Engage with customers by taking orders and offering personalized recommendations
- Create latte art to ensure each coffee beverage is visually appealing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation area and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to guarantee product quality and freshness
- Upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, and merchandise
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register efficiently
