The role of Pastry Cook at Weft & Warp involves preparing all pastry products to the high standards established by the pastry shop, supporting senior bakers, and fulfilling other culinary duties as assigned by the Chef. This position requires dedication to craftsmanship and an understanding of pastry techniques. The Pastry Cook will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a passion for quality are essential. The role demands flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends, to support the busy kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years experience in pastry preparation
  • knowledge of baking techniques
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • successful completion of background check

Job Duties

  • Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
  • assist higher level bakers
  • perform other duties as assigned by Chef
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry work area
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • contribute to inventory management and ingredient ordering
  • support team collaboration and kitchen efficiency
