The seasonal Cook position at EverBank Stadium offers an excellent opportunity to join this dynamic culinary team. The role involves important food preparation tasks that ensure guests receive high-quality meals efficiently and safely. As a Cook, you will work closely with the serving team to fulfill guest orders while adhering to department standards, portion control, and food safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining clean and organized workstations, managing food storage and freshness, and keeping detailed records of waste and inventory. This position provides a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 and offers flexible work schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and 12-hour shifts. Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
  • Standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels
  • Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
  • Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned
