Job Requirements
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance
- Move quickly and efficiently within the café
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively in English
- Good vision for close detail work
- Flexibility to bend and squat for cleaning and stocking
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of operating cash register or tablet device
- Ability to speak clearly and project voice
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to attend occasional trainings or meetings outside regular hours
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional service
- Explain beverage and food options and build customer rapport
- Handle phone inquiries and process orders accurately
- Craft consistent, high-quality beverages following Alfred standards
- Maintain coffee equipment and understand coffee and tea flavor profiles
- Prepare food according to recipes and maintain a clean prep space
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate operational inconsistencies
