The Part Time Barista role at Alfred Coffee offers a valuable opportunity to join this innovative and dedicated team. This position reports directly to the Café Manager and is classified as non-exempt, meaning it is eligible for overtime pay where applicable. The wage starts at $18.04 per hour plus tips, translating approximately to an hourly compensation range of $21.50 to $25.50, recognizing excellent service and customer interaction.

In this role, part-time baristas are responsible for creating high-quality and consistent beverages according to Alfred's proprietary standards, mastering coffee and tea origins and flavor profiles, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the café. The barista also serves as the face of the brand, warmly greeting and engaging with customers, responding to inquiries, and managing orders both in person and through mobile applications. Teamwork plays a critical role in this position, with an emphasis on clear communication, active listening, and a solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.

Additionally, baristas handle food preparation aligned with Alfred Coffee's recipes and safety protocols, ensuring that all food offerings meet the company's high standards. Maintaining safety and compliance throughout the café and following all cash-handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures are essential aspects of daily responsibilities.
