The role of Cafe Manager at Alfred's Beverly Hills location is pivotal in sustaining and enhancing this exceptional standard. The Cafe Manager reports directly to the Area Manager and carries the responsibility of maintaining operational excellence across all shifts. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of retail, hospitality, or cafe management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through ongoing feedback, training, and performance management

  • oversee cash handling, deposits, POS operations, opening/closing procedures, and administrative functions
  • maintain inventory levels, product organization, ordering while minimizing waste and controlling costs
  • ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and health regulations
  • maintain high standards for store appearance, merchandising, equipment maintenance, and operational readiness
  • utilize tools like Slack, email, and reporting systems for alignment and accountability
  • support sales growth and profitability by managing labor, inventory, supplies, and expenses
  • execute promotions, seasonal launches, and business initiatives effectively
  • monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • ensure all beverages, food items, and retail offerings meet Alfred quality and presentation standards
  • maintain deep knowledge of coffee, tea, and food offerings including origins and preparation methods
  • train and educate team members on product standards and hospitality
  • conduct regular quality checks
  • promote safe work practices and maintain a clean, food-safe environment
  • identify and resolve operational inconsistencies, maintenance issues, and safety concerns
  • document employee or customer incidents and support investigations
